Below are the minimum requirements for graduation from Pacific Horizons High School. In order to graduate, a student must earn a minimum of 22 credits. College-bound students are encouraged to supplement Pacific Horizons' courses with online, correspondence, and/or ASCC (American Samoa Community College) courses.

High School Diploma Requirements

English/Language Arts - 4 credits

Math - 3 credits, Algebra I & higher, and must take math every year while at PHS

Science - 3 credits, and must take science every year while at PHS

Social Science - 3 credits, and must take social science every year while at PHS

Physical Education/Health - 2 credits; at least 0.5 credits in health

Electives - 5 credits

Specified Core Electives
2 credits in English, Math, Social Studies, Science, or a Foreign Language beyond the required credits

1 Credit = One Full Year (two semesters)

0.5 Credit = One Semester
